Getting Started: Magnolia’s has been serving the McDonough county area for over 18 years and has a proven track record to host any kind of event. Secure your date: Please call our catering office at: 309.833.2725 to see if our space is available for your specific date. We will give you a courtesy hold for 7 days. This will give you time to research other options. We strongly suggest you visit our competition as well as us, in order for you to make the best decision for your event. we are confident that we will best fit your needs. Once you have selected magnolia’s, you must fill out a room agree-ment with our office or available on our web. Any deposits must be made at that time. Standard wedding deposit is $500.00 to $750.00. this will be deducted from your final bill. This will secure your room and services. details of refunds/additional info are listed in the room agreement.
Event Preparation: Once booked ,we will give you the tools in creating a perfect event. whether a wedding, luncheon, backyard bbq or a business dinner we will assist you in all your needs through a general meeting. We will provide you with a basic outline of questions that you may bring to this meeting. It will describe types of:
- Room layouts
- Food Service
- Bar Service
- Audio & Visual
- Off premise rental needs
- Entertainment Services
Food Services: For all plated meals, we offer a complimentary tasting. We offer a unique choice of options and feel you should be able to sample these items you may not be familiar with. We need an estimated budget per person in order to serve you items within that range. We also ask that you surf our menu to give us an idea of items that you like, any dislikes ( ex: green peppers) or any special dietary needs. We do occasionally offer tastings for an all appetizer. Reception but inventory and or preparation is limited to other events schedules.
We offer a variety of centerpieces at no charge or small rental fee. You can add your own touch to our many styles, however any damage or glued items will result in a surcharge. Please let our office know you would like to see examples. Linen examples also Available. Candles are welcomed but glitter /confetti will be an extra cleaning fee.
**Billing: All payments are due at the close of the event unless direct bill accounts have been set up with our office prior to the event. Sales tax exempt must be provided prior to your event.**
